Oh Woe is Eddie.
Poor Eddie
spent two days and a lot of money tracking down and getting a new fan
for his '52 Pickup Rachel.. all the while I owned one hidden in the junk
that came with my car. He wasn't sure he should laugh or cry.
Interior Pt. 5: Dash Detail
This is what Sev’s cab looked like after pulling the insulation and
sweeping the dust and muck away. By no means is it ‘clean’ but this does
clear away the distraction to give a better idea what I’m working with.
The floors look to be the biggest problem (as one would expect.) This
is more of the front.

Interior Pt. 3: Cab
After pulling up most of the carpet insulation we discovered just how
sloppy the people two owners ago were when it came to this car (if the
garden hose radiator wasn't an indicator.) Some of the patch panels on
the floor were obviously cut with the torch, and none of them were
welded in, they weren't flush and just kind of bolted over the raging
rust spots underneath.
I don't plan on cutting corners and will be taking this car apart to chase every bit of rust out and properly building it up from there. It will be a long and slow journey and I thank anyone who takes an interest!

Interior Pt. 3: Trunk Detail
This was the state of Sev's trunk after pulling all of the parts out. Without taking it apart and checking inner pieces this seems to be the worst spot of decay.
Interior Pt. 1
This was the state of Sev's cab after pulling all of the parts out. There was a plethora of goodies stacked to the roof in a jumble so it was fun sifting through it contents. The
random chunks of house carpet insulation was melted to the floor. Fantastic.
